About
I am David Camper, currently a Masters student at UC Berkeley studying Computational Social Science where I am using computational methods to answer social science questions and use data for good. I am a proud alumni of Jackson State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in History as well as a musician, community organizer and the Poet Laureate of Suisun City, CA. With an artistic background as a member of Outspoken Arts Collective and MADDRAMA Performing Arts Troupe, experience as a college level writing tutor in the Richard Wright Writing Center and knowledge in the banking and finance field as a Financial Service Representative for over 4 years, I deeply value human interaction, effective communication and artistic expression. My goal is to use data analytics to create a nonprofit organization to inform communities and encourage positive change through the delivery of context rich data analysis, community outreach and the performing arts.

Data Analyst & Poet Laureate
Skilled in machine learning and data analysis while also a seasoned public speaker, creative writer and performer. People are at the center of it all and I am passionate about elevating stories that need to be told, whether through data or prose.
